Dress Sizes

Every parent may already know this, but kids grow extremely quickly! I learned this the hard way when planning my own wedding. Two months before the wedding I received notice that my flower girls had out grown their dresses purchased eight months prior.

When choosing the size of your flower girl's dress make sure to consider what size they will be by the time your wedding date arrives. No one likes to wear a dress that doesn't fit correctly.

Pictured above, Mika is wearing her new spring dress. Unfortunately, her dress is too small so we could not tie it around her belly. Let's make sure your flower girl doesn't have the same issue.

Welcome!

After months of planning I am excited that The Flower Girl Boutique is officially ready for its unveiling. "Mika's Corner" allows us the opportunity to share thoughts on developments within The Flower Girl Boutique and in the wedding industry in general.

Mikachu is our four year old Yorkshire Terrier, essentially our practice baby since she is extremely spoiled and is definitely well in tune with the fashion industry as evidenced by the following:

The Flower Girl Boutique was formed after planning our own wedding and realizing that it is often difficult to find a cute moderately priced dress that fits an all so important member of the wedding party. It also occurred to us that many brides have flower girls that live out of state. Being based in the Seattle area allows brides to see and purchase dresses if need be, but having an online boutique allows for easy access to view the collection and make purchases that will ship easily to any out of state flower girl. In short, The Flower Girl Boutique was created to ensure at least one aspect of the planning process is as seamless as possible.

Thank you for your time!
